Justin Bieber is quickly turning out to be an interesting personality – like all pop stars who want a longer shelf life.  While his professional talents dominated the Billboards awards, his personal interactions with Selena Gomez dominated the news tracks. Apparently, he has got a new tattoo, on his left arm, which says ‘Yeshua’, which is Hebrew for Jesus Christ. ‘Yeshu’ is also the name for Jesus Christ in Hindi, the national language of India.
We are not sure about how apt it is for him to have a Jewish tattoo, because Jews are not actually allowed to tattoo – because their religion forbids them from gashing their flesh – but well, wethinks this is going to create another media storm.

Rihanna had won a lot of public sympathy when she had a public break up with fellow rapper Chris Brown. The breakup not only gave us an insight into celebrity lives, but also spoke about the culture divide that is prominent in America even today. However, all of this sympathy may just go down the drain because of a new video that the ‘Umbrella’ star has come up with.
The video, titled Man Down basically shows something that can be considered to be calculated murder, showing a woman killing a man. Rihanna is facing a lot of heat for this album and video, and several organizations and institutions say that if Chris Brown had made a vide where a woman is killed, the world would have stopped, and therefore Rihanna should not be let go easily.
The song is from the album Loud, and first shows how the two come together, and the man finally rapes her after she agrees to a dance invite from him.

The big bad head of body criticism is raising its head all over again and it all began with LeAnn Rimes sending a photo of her in a bikini, in a very, very thin frame.  The picture, which shows her in a very, very thin frame, has come under flak for showing off a body that  was almost showing off her bones. This is a very serious thing, considering that some women in America consider Anorexia to be something of an achievement. We hope that the model is not doing that.  Doctors are of the opinion that the photograph is not showing any abs, but is actually showing pure hip bones.
This brings us to an age old conversation, where models say that it becomes necessary for them to lose weight like this, because they need to remain in business.

Rihanna has been recently facing some flak for her single Man Down, where she basically shoots a man in cold blood after he sexually abuses her. Comparisons are being made about what would have happened if Chris Brown made a video about him killing a woman – as they were estranged after Rihanna admitted that he used to physically abuse her. Meanwhile, Rihanna has gone to that tome of celebrity shields, Twitter, and has defended her video, saying that she is a rockstar and not a parent, and she wondered why people are taking a 23-year-old rockstar with no kids!

Kim Kardashian is a hot star, a big reality star, a name that oozes sexiness, hot body and much more and when she announced that she is getting married, the world thought that now Kim will not do a publicity stunt to earn money. Now Kim will be a married woman and will love Kris only but her recent statements have proved everybody wrong and show the world at her heart she is really a hardcore business woman.
And what is it that makes her a business minded woman, well nothing much she has just asked her fiancé to sign a prenuptial agreement and why so, well just to protect her empire. Well okay now that is rude right. And the couple is negotiating the terms and conditions.
Well it is not that Kris Humphries does not earn money, or he will be like totally dependent on Kim, well he is one of the best professional basketball players of this year and has earned a huge contract. But all this and his new contract money cannot even touch where Kim stands today. Maybe this is the reason Kim wants this agreement. But whatever it is, it surely doesn’t sound good, but can Kris say anything, we don’t think so. Well let’s see what Kim makes Kris do in the future. Ready saw a lot of promos when it launched. While Singham wowed us, Ghayal Returns made us inquisitive. For those who have not yet seen it, the teaser promo shows a visibly aged Sunny Deol beating the pulp out of two people who seem criminals, and Ajay Mehra is wearing a police officer ki vardi. We were curious about knowing more about the movie, but there was nothing coming forward. However, news is now in that Sunny Deol is trying to rope in Prachi Desai for the big banner Ghayal Returns movie. Prachi Desai has earlier worked in gritty crime cinema like Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. Also, Ghayal will have a reprisal of Joe D’Souza, the harder than nails character played by Om Puri in the first movie.
Ghayal was the runaway hit of the nineties, and one of the first Bollywood movies that showed out and out violence. For many, it is one of the fond memories of youth. We hope that Sunny Deol and Ashwini Chaudhary do justice to the movie, unlike Mehul Kumar, who tried to make the sequel to Krantiveer, which flopped miserably at the box office for want of a script and screenplay. We wish Sunny Deol all the best and wish him all success.

Himesh Reshammiya is having a bad week, month, year, or whatever other longer period of time you may think up of. However, all that may change, now that he and Salman Khan have patched up. Salman Khan had earlier mentored the singer-with-a-unique tone, but fell out with him when he thought that he had become too big for his boots. With a following that equaled Salman Khan in his heydays, we cannot blame Himesh to become a gargantuan egotistic beast. But, with his movies fumbling at the box office, Himesh seems to have found out how fickle celebrityhood is, and has now patched up with Salman Khan.
As a token gesture, he will be providing the music for Salman Khan’s forthcoming Bodyguard instead of Pritam. Why Pritam was dropped from the project is unknown. This is really news, because Himesh had earlier said that he will provide music to only those movies that will have him in a starring role. This  reminds us of some heroine, affiliated to Salman Khan, who had once said that she will not act in any movies that do not have her husband in a starring role.

Stars and their quirks are well known in the film circles. Some producer will only name their movies in more than four words, yet others will use only one word, while yet others will want to name it starting with a particular letter. Nowadays, with numerologists making the rounds of filmdom, many change the spelling of their names and their movies. In such a situation, someone changing their stance is very interesting – like Emraan Hashmi.
Earlier, Emraan would use to stay away from multistarrers, but now has signed up not one but three multistarrer movies. He will next be seen in Shangai and The Dirty Picture, with Abhay Deol and Tusshar Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah. The first multistarrer movie that Emraan Hashmi starred in was Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, which was one of the biggest grossers in Bollywood for that year.
When asked, Emraan Hashmi said that not acting in multi starrers, or having some harsh principles only makes the person lose out of creative projects. For example, a great script may not be even presented because the film industry insiders know that he will not accept multistarrers. Therefore, he has now changed the idea.
We hope that we see Emraan Hashmi more and more in the theaters.

Delhi Belly, the latest movie under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions is all set to release in India, and it will also launch overseas in 250 screens. This may be the highest number of screens that a Bollywood movie will be released in  overseas.
The movie, directed by Abhinay Deo and starring Imraan Khan and Vir Das seems to be a movie about three people who are stuck in a weird situation that has crime, guns and of course, danger all around them.
UTV is gung ho about the movie, and says that though the movie may look westernized, it is a complete Bollywood entertainer with ten songs, the music being a mix of Punjabi, Hindi and English lyrics, they are trying to cash in on the NRI crowd all over the world.
With the songs of the movie already creating a buzz, we are more than interested in knowing what the movie is all about. Imran Khan has proven himself to be a very good actor, and Vir Das is well known in the stand up comedy circuit – not here, but in the UK and the US. All the best to Delhi Belly!

Kumar Taurani of Tips has his hands full. Just when his Double Dhamaal is all set for release, he is about to launch a romantic comedy starring Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza.  The two are known to be quite close to each other, and are romantically linked since their ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ days.
The two have been offered many scripts, but the only movie they did together was Masti, but this one caught their attention immediately and they said yes to it. When contacted, Kumar Taurani was quite surprised that the word has leaked out. However, he confirmed that the two were attached to the movie, and said that the movie would go on the floors on June 25th, when Ritesh is back from his Housefull 2 stint.
Mandeep Kumar, who has earlier worked with Taurani on a Punjabi movie, directs the movie. The movie is as yet untitled.

Sanjay and Manyata Dutt know what growing up in a celebrity household should be all about. After all, Sanjay has grown up in Sunil and Nargis Dutt’s house! Maybe that is the reason that he has not yet invited the press to photograph his daughter, Iqra Dutt.  However, Ameesha Patel, who is a close friend of Manyata, took it up herself to post baby Iqra’s photo on her Twitter account, and the parents are none too pleased. We respect the baby’s and the parent’s privacy, and hope that all is well with the cute little moochoo moochoo!

Ready has already been announced as a hit, and  has already raked in a lot of moolah at the box office. Now, some religious outfits have asked for a ban on the movie, because of the lyrics in the song, Character Dheela, a part of which seems to offend their religious sentiments. The lyrics in question, ‘raas leela’ have traditionally been  used to describe Lord Krishna’s activities with the Gopis, but has gone down in slang as doing something that is unneeded and too over the top. The outfit has asked to revoke the censor certificate of the movie. A notice has been issued to Salman Khan, Bhushan Kumar and the lyricist, and they have to reply to the notice within three weeks.
Movie makers, religious organizations and the so called moral police have always courted trouble. While films like Bandit Queen, Fire and others actually faced many protests, there are mainstream movies that seem to create a hullaballoo about nothing, and the protests pipe down once the movie releases. This has been seen to be a common ploy for increasing the buzz and creating an aura of ‘us against them’ by many producers and filmmakers of late.

Raveena Tandon recently tweeted that she will be doing a song for Amitabh Bachchan’s Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap. The actor who has acted in very few movies nowadays will be dancing to a song titled Chandigarh ki Kudi, Chandigarh ki Star.  Previously, she acted with Amitabh Bachchan in the Manoj Bajpai starrer ‘Aks’. She has also announced that Sunidhi Chauhan will be singing the song.
Item songs are quite a rage in Bollywood today, and that Raveena Tandon, one of the first actors to create the blazing hot Tip Tip Barsa Paani is going back to the dance floor can only be good news for moviegoers. After all, all the Sheelas and the Munnis and even Jalebi Bais want some kind of competition, don’t they?

One of the first movies to have a sequel in Bollywood, Raaz, will have a third movie now, making it a full-blown franchise. In a recent intervie, Emraan Hashmi said that while previously people thought that horror movies fizzle out by the third week, movies like Raagini MMS and Haunted 3D have proved the trade pundits wrong, and more and more people are now trying their hands at horror and the supernatural.
In the interview, Emraan said that in Raaz 3, he will be the only actor common in all the three movies. He also said that Mohit Suri will direct the movie, but did not reveal anything about the female lead for the movie.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a successful man and he currently has what peple call the Midas touch, he won the No in tests ka title, he won the world cup, he won  the IPL and all this success is just so unbelievable that no one else than Dhoni can take credit of, But wait there is one person who can take credit of this success and that person is Sakshi, Dhoni’s wife. As they say behind every successful man there is woman, and behind Dhoni is Sakshi, she was everywhere her husband went to play, to support him and the result is Dhoni’s success.
But why are we talking about Dhoni at Moviezadd, well this couple is going to be the next hot property in the town, because they have a value that no other stars have. and proving this is the new demand of Sakshi Dhoni in the ad market. Recently they shot for a two-wheeler ad, and according to sources they looked amazing in the shoot. They shot the ad, but everything was kept under wraps as Mrs Dhoni is new to this world, but soon everything will be fine and we can expect them to feature in many ads and also some reality show.
Moving on to the ad the ad film is directed by critically acclaimed directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, who have tasted success in their critically acclaimed movie “Shor… In the City”. In the commercial we will see the new how couple sizzles on a bike and the duo directors are raving about Mrs. Dhoni that she is really good looking and has a face for the camera.
Well we hope to see Mr. and Mrs. Dhoni in many more ads or even movies, as they say in India : “Cricket and Movies are the only two things that Indians are passionate about”, so lets see who approaches the couple first.
