Ileana D’Cruz, who had taken the southern cinema by storm, will have a dream debut in Bollywood. She is all set to work with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the murder mystery, Barfree. Ilena D’Cruz plays the narrator in the movie, while Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of a deaf and dumb person. Priyanka Chopra plays the role of a mentally challenged person.
Ileana D’Cruz said that she is playing a very unconventional role as her Bollywood debut, but she is happy to be part of a film that has Priyanka and Ranbir as the other main characters. She says that she had earlier seen Ranbir in movies like Bachna Ae Haseeno and Rajneeti and had immensely liked his performances.  Ilena is also supposed to play a role in the Telugu remake of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’.

What Salman wants, Salman gets, and hell hath no fury on anyone who tries to give him anything else. Reportedly, Salman Khan wants to see Aamir’s contract before he signs up with Yash Raj films. However, Yash Raj Film offered him a glimpse of the other Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s contract. Salman Khan has reportedly refused to accept that.
It is interesting to know that Salman Khan is more interested, and even friendlier with Aamir Khan instead of Shah Rukh Khan. Looking at the movies that the two Khans have been doing, Aamir Khan comes across as the odd man out, and very few people would have considered Salman Khan and Aamir Khan to be good friends – the two seem to be poles apart when it comes to the movies. Can you picture an Aamir Khan doing the Dabaang, or  Salman Khan doing a Fanaa like Aamir could?
Whatever be the case, we sure hope that Salman Khan and Yash Raj Films quickly come up with some solution, so it becomes fashionable once more to go to the theaters!

Anil Kapoor is going places, literally! After his starring role in the English crime series 24, and a starring role in the Danny Boyle film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, he has signed up for another thriller, Cities. The movie also stars Clive Owen and is directed by Roger Donaldson. If the cast is anything to go by, this one should be a very interesting movie. Clive Owen has previously acted in such intelligent movies like The International and Inside Man.
Anil Kapoor is considered as one of the most versatile actors this side of the Statue of Liberty. He has starred in several potboilers, thrillers as well as in parallel cinema. He is best known for his roles in movies like Ram Lakhan, Parinda, and more recently in movies like My Wife’s Murder, etc.

For many Hollywood and Bollywood movies, love is a bad word, and with Luv ka The End, Bollywood might just be blowing the final bugle on clichéd and mushy love stories. The movie tells us about how a girl gets cheated on by her boyfriend, and how she exacts revenge – or at least plans to.
Shernaz Treasurywala, the former MTV girl who has written the concept, says that the movie is almost autobiographical. She says about how one of her boyfriends cheated on her and she planned revenge. She further says that each of the characters in the movie is an exaggeration of people whom she has known or has spent time with.
This route is not new, as many inspiration hungry writers normally look towards real life incidents for inspiration for their new ideas and stories. And with Bollywood having more real life incidents coming onto screen now, it is time for a young writer to present their love lives in a different, refreshing manner.

Just when you thought that Salman Khan has no interest in playing a superhero, he goes ahead and gives a roar to his competition. Salman Khan is all set to portray the titular character in the action superhero movie, Sher Khan.  The movie is supposed to be the most expensive movie that India has ever produced, and will most probably a children’s flick, as opposed to Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra. One. Previously, Ajay Devgn had acted in a children’s flick which did get positive reviews at the box office, Toonpur ka Superhero.  Salman is all set to play a dashing hero in the movie, “Ready”.
Brother Sohail Khan has roped in Kona Venkat, a Telugu script writer to write the script for the movie. He has also confirmed that here will be no child in the cast. Sohail Khan has said that Salman Khan will not play the typical superhero who flies in the air, but will play the role of a big hearted man who does everything for the world. Kona Venkat has written the original script for Ready.

Poor Shah Rukh Khan, just when you thought it is enough for him to spend oodles of money on his home production Ra. One, he goes ahead once more and adds something to the movie. He was almost all set to release Ra. One, when Robot released and basically changed the way the Indian audiences perceived superhero movie graphics, and that has Shah Rukh go back to the production table. Now, the much publicized blue suit that is the superhero’s costume will be enhanced, so that it can be digitized. The suit has already cost around one crore to the superhero. We just hope that SRK makes pots and pots of money out of Ra. One.
The nomenclature of Ra One is a bit strange. Apparently, Ra. One is the antagonist, and is played by someone else, whereas it is Shah Rukh Khan who is G One, made of solid electricity and comes to the real world to fight G One. Ra One stands for Random Access. Yes, we know that it seems inspired by The Terminator.

Remember the sci fi movie, Terminator I? Well, that one was a small budget movie that went on to create movie history, and started a franchise of sorts. The most well known movie of this franchise is Terminator II, which had Arnold Schwarzenegger in his career best role. Well, we kind of think that this movie would have inspired Shah Rukh Khan while accepting the Ra. One script.
Apparently, Ra. One stands for Random Access, a virtual character that comes into the real world, and Shah Rukh Khan plays G One, a character made out of solid electricity, to fights Ra One. We are perplexed at how Shah Rukh could give this script a go ahead. He has earlier had little success while aping Amitabh Bachchan in Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Of course, making the Terminator II with the current technologies available is a dream. But the moment the audience understands the script, there will be direct comparisons to Terminator II and Shah Rukh Khan and Arnold Schwarzenegger.  And we think we all know where that comparison would go.
However, a lot is running on this movie for Shah Rukh Khan, both as an actor and as a producer. Acting as a superhero is considered to be a career changing aspect right now, and there are many above 30 actors who are trying their luck at working as superheroes. We hope that all goes well with Shah Rukh Khan.

Catfights and scars are part and parcel of Bollywood. Of course, back in the time of Madhuri Dixit and Meenakshi Sheshadri, the media was not so strong to know what a particular cat fight, but now, with the media getting ‘twenty four’ coverage, the riffs and cracks are bound to be visible. Recently, we had reported about how Katrina and Deepshika are at loggerheads – and now it seems that Prakash Jha’s tweets have enraged Katrina Kaif. The rumor goes that Prakash Jha praised Deepika’s demeanor on the sets of Aarakshan, and that upset Katrina, and she called up the veteran director about the same.
We find this rumor hard to believe. Neither is Prakash Jha  a person to take something like this lying down, and nor is Katrina so undiplomatic that she would call up a leading producer director like a cry baby. So, the next time you read this rumor in the other rags, keep this is in mind, and grin and bear it

There is one rule in the film industry – all the rules in it are unwritten, and you have to experience them first hand. If you are a novice, you will not last a day, but if you are Salman Khan, the rules might just be changed. Salman Khan and YRF are now working together on Ek tha Tiger.  Now, generally, YRF does not allow the parking of personal vanity vans in their studios, but they have made some special accommodation for Salman Khan, has nobody ever told him to move is vanity van.
Salman Khan and YRF are like chalk and cheese. While one is known for his gregarious antics both on and off screen, the entire YRF unit is known to be the docile, silent types, the first corporates of the Indian film industry. We would like to see how this one will go.

Vidya Balan seems to have got some new dancing shoes as nowadays she is all set to learn salsa. And why suddenly the Actress has shown in the sexy Salsa, Vidya says that she loves the dance form and she is learning it for personal as well as professional reasons. As we all know Vidya is thorough professional and she makes it sure whatever she does on screen she should do it originally be it even dance.

According to some sources this salsa dance that she is preparing is for her current film Silk Smitha where she has to do some sensual numbers and what better sensual than salsa. So that is the reason Vidya is learning Salsa.
Whatever maybe the reason, we surely are pumped to see Vidya doing a Salsa number in her upcoming movie.

The rumor mill is rife with stories about Salman Khan and Yash Raj Production’s first movie together. First it was said that Sallu Miah wanted to see Aamir Khan’s contract. Later on, it was revealed that he does not want to see Shah Rukh’s contract even if it is offered to him.
Whatever the current standing is, the movie that Salman Khan will star in, with Katrina Kaif under the Yash Raj Banner has been announced. Ek tha Tiger is all set to hit the floors. A romantic thriller, the first look shows Salman in a simple white shirt and black trousers – making us wonder whether he is acting the common man or a man in a profession once more. Katrina Kaif looks quite fetching in a short red dress.
While we cannot be sure about the personal relationships of these actors, we can be quite sure that the two still have it in them to set the screen on fire. We will definitely not miss this movie for the world!

Who knew that sitting on a couch and sipping coffee would have so many repercussions throughout Bollywood? First it was Deepika, Sonam and Ranbir Kapoor, and now it is Anoushka, Sonakshi and Ranveer. Apparently, Ranveer Kapoor had said on the show that he finds Sonakshi Sinha quite hot, and Sonakshi Sinha had said that she would like to work with the Band Baaja Baarat male lead.
One thing led to another, and Sonakshi and Ranveer met at an event, and have met quite a few times since then. This has made Anouskha, Ranveer’s Band Baaja Baarat costar quite insecure, and it seems that she is sending some catty retorts to Sonakshi Sinha every time her filmy friends are in earshot.
We find it difficult to decide on the Koffee with Karan show. Is it a public relation exercise meant for young and upcoming actors, or the couch magically enchanted, which makes everyone sitting on it spew venom against others.

The Royal Wedding is over, and people near and close to them are offering them all kinds of suggestions, to forward their married life. Victoria Beckham, who is currently pregnant with her fourth child, is encouraging Middleton to go in for a pregnancy within the first year of her wedding. Middleton has previously said that she would like to go in for a pregnancy and start a family, because she thinks that is the greatest thing to happen in married life.

Kirsten Stewart and Ashley Greene are great friends off the Twilight Series. This puts to rest the various rumors that the two do not get along well. They met at the Met Ball on the eighteenth floor, and were said to be having the time of their life. The two also had drinks together, and were generally said to be having a good time.  Just a few days ago, the two were also spotted eating together. As far as we know, when two people eat and drink together, and are spotted laughing their heads off with each other, we can be pretty sure that they are good friends!

This morning, you will read news about how Agent Vinod is scheduled to be a superhero, or at least the headlines will tell you that. With modern film makers ready to tamper the cult classics – can you believe that Agneepath does not have the Mithun Chakraborthy character at all? – It should not surprise us when Saif Ali Khan says that he is changing the titular character in Agent Vinod to a superhero.
The good news is that he is not. In a recent interview, he said that he would be all okay to work in a Hollywood movie. When asked about playing a superhero, he said that Agent Vinod is just *like* a superhero, in human form.  There, we clarified it for you, Nawab Saab.
Agent Vinod (2011) is a remake of one of the many spy movies that were made in Bollywood in the seventies through the eighties. The movie starred Mahendra Sandhu in the titular role, as a spy. This is one of the first Bollywood movies to have a fansite. We are happy that Saif chose this genre to make a splash into the movies, he sure looks like a suave killer. And who would not dig looking at him in a three piece suit? Remember Race?

Some things do not strike us until they strike us. Like, do you know that the great Shak has not kissed anyone onscreen, even though he has been onscreen for more than twenty two years? We remember the time when an actor considered his acting career made when he dies as a hero in the end. Well, in 2011, it seems that actors and actresses consider their careers made if they kiss onscreen.
The Great Shak is all set to share his first onscreen kiss with Kareena Kapoor, in a scene from the upcoming superhero film Ra.One. What men, Shak, we knew you went back to the production when Robot got released, but we never knew you had this ace up your sleeve!

It is a misconception to think that Priyadarshan is just a comedy movie director. He has previously given us such gut wrenching stories like Virasat and Gardish, and he is now going back into that territory. Tezz is an upcoming action movie – which promises some high octane stunts and action sequences – which is supposedly inspired from the Japanese movie Shinkansen Daibakuha’, which is starred Sonny Chiba. The movie has a terrorist angle now thrown in, and promises some adrenaline rushing action sequences.
The star cast of the movie is as daunting too. It stars Ajay Devgn, Mohanlal, Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Sameera Reddy and others.
