Toronto, Apr 13: In a move typical of the brand ambassador of Canadian tourism in India, the renowned dancer and actor Akshay Kumar ensured that the screen taste of his forthcoming film ‘Thank You’ took place in Canada. The film directed by Anees Bazmee features Akshay as a detective investigating in both the countries, Canada and India. Consequently, the shooting of the film revolved around Canada.
The screening which was formally conducted in Brampton was witnessed by the Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his wife. Besides the Canadian Premiere and his better half, the theatre displayed an elite gathering of officials and dignitaries representing both the countries.
In course of the screening, the actor sporting a black casual and a pair of jeans was also seen dancing with Mrs. Harper. Wearing black leggings and a turquoise blue kurti with floral embroideries in white, Mrs. Harper gave the dancer a befitting company.
